Brother & Sister

It seems that sibling bonding starts early. Ellie loves her little brother & Aidan smiles whenever Ellie is around. She always asks to hold him and likes to tickle his feet (and put her finger in his ears, nose, mouth and eyes, but that's her way of showing affection :-)

Happy Halloween!

We've been enjoying the cool fall weather and are getting ready for Halloween. Jim and Ellie carved the pumpkin we got last weekend. Take a look at our October 20008 photos to see our visit to the pumpkin farm and Ellie posing with her jack-o-lantern.

Aidan's video

Aidan is starting to smile and "talk." Probably just trying to keep up with his sister! He loves it when we whistle, so that is what you hear me doing in the background.

Aidan is 1 month old

Aidan had his 1-month check up with our pediatrician on October 2nd. He weighed in at 10 lbs, 10 oz. and measured 22 3/8" long. That puts him in the 75% in both categories. He has gained over 2 lbs and grown 2 inches since birth.

Ellie's size at 1 month was 10 lbs, 4 oz and was about the same length. Aidan is gaining weight at a faster pace than his sister, trying to keep up with our tradition of big babies :-) He's already outgrowing some of his 3-month sized clothes. It's very true that our children grow up too quickly!
